As well as being very scenic\, the area is also home to many historically significant places – abbey churches\, castles\, the Tolpuddle Martyrs and so on. This will be a unique opportunity to spend time with John in Scotland (he has twice been the tutor on the week-long autoharp course at Sore Fingers in Oxfordshire and has taught an many other prestigious autoharp events). The day will be suited for all levels of experience other than absolute beginning players. In fact\, we’ve been advised that a combination of factors means that Accommodation in and near to Moniaive is going to be in short supply this summer\, with only the Craigdarroch Hotel  (although the George will once again be open as a pub). Tim at the Craigdarroch Hotel has passed on the suggestion that a good solution for groups of friends would be to club together and share an Air B&B. A quick look at the Air B&B website suggests that there are a few Air B&Bs in or just outside Moniaive village\, and others in the nearby village of Penpont.
