The December workshop with Karen (FOR UK AUTOHARPS MEMBERS ONLY) will run, as usual, from 4.00pm-6.00pm UK time (BST). Login will open from 3.30pm for settling down and socialising time beforehand. The theme for the afternoon will be: “Lovely French Carol Melodies.” We will focus on learning Now of Christmas); Il Est Né le Divin Enfant; Un Flambeau, Jeannette, Isabella (Bring a Torch, in 2 settings, a slow waltz and a faster jig); plus the haunting Huron Carol from Canada (‘Twas in the Moon of Wintertime, dating from 1642).
As usual, there will be plenty of instruction, and something for players of all levels.
A recording of the workshop will be made available for everyone whether or not you can attend in person. Karen has stressed that these recordings should not be downloaded/uploaded, copied, put on Facebook or YouTube, etc.
